Beauty of delight

The dusk had the colors of dawn,
Breath had the essence of new life,
Waters had the music of passion,

Soul was adoring its iniquitous frame,
Time was losing its ubiquitous chastity,
Urges were perishing in the flames.

But then you questioned my status,
and we lost the beauty of time.

Price of Dreams

Agony, endurance and sacrifice;
Dreams come live with a price.
Price so high, better think twice
before we play our dream's dice.

But our dreams, so bewitching,
that reality is left to the wind,
to the romantic future we sing,
and casually we take a swing.

Just to see our fancy come true,
our root hide tears and stew,
toiling hard and turning blue,
with just our dreams in their view.

Feelings ache and kinship sprain;
from passion and fondness we abstain;
Identity, mirth and nexus we slain;
but are they really worth all this pain?
